About Chiropractic

Chiropractic (meaning Hand Practitioner) was founded in 1895 by D.D. Palmer.

It is based on the theory that nerve interference creates disbalance, and disease. Chiropractic is devoted to evaluating and clearing these nerve interferences and allowing the body to heal itself (Innate Intelligence).

Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a sophisticated and conservative health care method that uses muscle testing as a means of evaluating your body’s function. Although Applied Kinesiology is primarily a diagnostic technique, it has integrated diverse methods of treatment into a unified health care approach.

AK is a method that is well suited to assessment and treatment of functional illness. It is often possible to identify the existence of functional illness when standard laboratory or physical findings are absent, thus enhancing the acuity and sophistication of physical examination and diagnosis.

The ability to individualize the diagnosis and treatment allows the applied kinesiologist to determine which therapy, or combination of therapies will be most effective therapy, applied kinesiology yields high rates of effectiveness in treating functional illness.
