"'Dr. Alan' (as my son calls him) did wonders for my three year old. A year and a half ago my son was hospitalized with pneumonia. He was on antibiotic after antibiotic. The doctors told me he had asthma and put him on nebulizer treatments of Albuterol and Pulmicort. I researched these medications and found they are devastating to the body. I was desperate to find a better way to help my son.
My aunt recommended Dr. Perestam. She takes her family to him for everything, and my grandfather was a patient of Dr. Perestam’s father. He came highly recommended. I took her advice and made an appointment. My son loves 'Dr. Alan'. He is patient and gentle; even with cracking and pulling involved with adjustments; my son was quiet and calm. Dr. Perestam recommended some dietary changes (i.e. cut down dairy, stay away from trans fats, etc.) and a few visits for some minor adjustments. Within a month, my son was off of all medication. Almost 2 years later, he has rarely been on medication, including over-the-counter drugs. He still gets sick (as all kids in child care do!), but his body has grown strong enough to fight off illness by itself. I give Dr. Perestam the credit for helping my son and educating me on how to be truly healthy."
