Julie Dodge: Massage Therapy
Julie graduated from Baltimore School of Therapeutic Massage in January of 2004 and Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2005. She specializes in Swedish massage with a combination of deep tissue massage. Swedish massage is the known today as the “traditional” massage. Swedish massage includes long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping and shaking motions. This type of massage is effective for most ailments because by massaging the skin, the largest organ of the body, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, and promotes health and well-being. Julie also does another technique called Myofascial Release.
One-hour massage: $60.00
Half-hour massage: $35.00

Christine Wilson: Raindrop Reiki Technique
Raindrop Technique is an application of Young Living Oils developed by Dr. Gary Young and a Lakota medicine man two decades ago.
Raindrop Technique (RT) uses a sequence of nine highly microbial essential oils. They are dropped like rain from a height of 6in onto the spine and then lightly applied using various hand to body techniques. This stimulates the energy impulses and disperses the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body. These Young Living Essential Oils are also applied to the feet using a Vitaflex technique.
We all carry viruses, parasites, bacteria, and funguses, which deplete our immune system. Everyone benefits from RT because the spinal column contains nerves that feed the entire body. The essential oils dissolve into the skin and help eliminate the viruses and other organisms we carry with us. Wonderfully, soothing, and relaxing RT can work its benefits for day’s weeks, or months.
Essential Oils are concentrated liquids distilled from all parts of the plant. When the oils are inhaled or applied topically to the body Essential Oils have the following properties:
- Antibacterial, Antifungal, Antiviral, Anti-Inflammatory
- Antiseptic
- Aid in air purification
- Reduce appetite and weight loss
- Aids healing by increasing oxygen in the body
- Natural chelators
- Sleep Aid
- Balances hormones
- Heal burns
- Enhance circulation and immune system
- And more
In this way, the body can be brought into balance and energy centers can be cleared and realigned. It will also help to reduce spinal inflammation and kill viruses that hibernate along the spinal column, as well as help straighten any spinal curvatures. Many types of spinal misalignments are caused by viruses and bacteria that lie dormant alone the spine resulting in inflammation and deformity.
If you have a certain issue you are dealing with please mention it before you get a RT done. If you are interested in getting RT or want more information about Young Living Oils please call Christine at Perestam Chiropractic 687-0800.
Raindrop Technique usually takes about one hour and costs $45.00.
